Mitsubishi Motors will make a new surprise in mid-October. Reporting from AutoPro, Monday (10/10/2022), this Japanese car manufacturer will introduce a concept car that has never been shown before in Vietnam on October 19, 2022.
Interestingly, this concept car will be in the form of a compact SUV that will be the main challenger to the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and so on. This is the first time that Vietnam has been chosen as the first country to launch a new Mitsubishi car on a global level.
Detailed information on this concept car is still very minimal, there is only a small silhouette with Mitsubishi's distinctive three-diamond logo which is most likely the front view. Then there are the words "New Concet Car" and "Vietnam 1st World Premiere".
Will Appear at Vietnam Motor Show 2022
After being introduced for the first time on October 19, later this concept SUV will also appear to the Vietnamese public at the Vietnam Motor Show 2022 exhibition which will take place from October 26 to 30, 2022 in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Several possible reasons for the choice of Vietnam as the first country to showcase this concept car are Mitsubishi's high sales in the country, mainly contributed by Xpander, as well as the rapidly growing compact SUV market.
The presence of the concept car indicates that Mitsubishi is ready to compete in the compact SUV segment which has been filled by several players, especially in Southeast Asia, which is Mitsubishi's largest market in the world.
