Try CBT NIKKE: Goddess of Victory Shooter 'Fresh' and 'Brutal'

One mechanism that may be confusing at first is that not all NIKKE can issue their capabilities right away. Each NIKKE has two capabilities that are only active under certain conditions; spending bullets, when a few percent of HP remains, enemies are destroyed, etc., as well as an ultimate (red) ability that can only be activated based on the tier or sequence.

For example (see the image above), the character Anis has a roman symbol two (next to power) and Neon has a roman symbol one. This indicates that Anis's ultimate ability can only be used if the Neon character has already released her ultimate. After removing the ultimate tier three ability, all NIKKE will enter Full Burst mode which increases all attacks and abilities (red).

Auto feature with Aimbot accuracy

Just like most shooter games released on mobile or consoles, NIKKE also presents an aim-assist feature for you noobs (like me). But what is quite surprising is that there is a feature that is practically similar to Aimbot.

If normally using Aimbot requires players to control when to shoot, on Nikke this use is only available through the Auto feature. Yes, in this game the AI that moves your character in Auto mode has such high accuracy and is definitely better than you.

But the bad thing is, the AI in this game has priority in eliminating the enemies that appear. I myself don't really know what the priority is, but what is clear is that using Auto mode itself is highly not recommended for Boss levels or when entering a wave where the enemy "brings the whole circle".

Has great features

If most mobile games now only present competitive elements through indirect PvP or just fighting damage and posting on social media, NIKKE is one of them trying to present mabar or co-op features that indirectly test cooperation between players.

Unfortunately during the CBT that took place yesterday, this new feature is only available through a limited-time event, where you and your friends or matchmake with other random players are competing to give the highest total damage to a boss.

So it is hoped that in the future there will be a separate mabar mode without having to wait for special events to appear, or even being allowed to call other players in campaign mode if you find a difficult level.

'Brutal' character design and Live 2D

As stated at the beginning and from some of the screenshots listed in the previous points, of course you can expect that this game provides fanservice in the form of a variety of character designs that are so tempting, you could even say they tend to be more vulgar than other games.

Some of the character designs in NIKKE

If you've ever played Destiny Child, you probably know that one of the advantages of the game Shift Up itself is applying Live 2D animation for the characters in it. Even in NIKKE, all the characters have animations, starting from small gestures when idle, when we interact (press the screen) with them, to when they release their abilities in battle.

And not a few of them even have 'brutal' animations that can shake the 'sky' and 'oceans'. You can check the appearance of the shock at a glance in this video.

Outpost as a base building feature

After going through the first few chapters, you will be exiled to a place called Outpost, but also given the freedom to manage the place. Yes, Outpost is a simple base building feature which will also have an effect on strengthening NIKKE in battle.

When exploring in the campaign, you can find various artifacts such as recordings or memos supporting the world lore, CDs containing the game's soundtrack, then what is quite important is blueprints in the form of buildings to build which can make Outpost look more beautiful and lively.

Outpost appearance and some of its facilities.

Most of these buildings actually do not have a direct function other than being present as decorations, but several other important facilities have just opened or can only be upgraded when certain buildings have been built.

Gacha is still grey

Unfortunately, for now I can't comment much on the gacha in the NIKKE game. Because while participating in CBT yesterday, the developer continued to provide in-game currency to withdraw gacha every day, even several times a day. And during the CBT, the developer did not open the microtransaction feature.
