The Toyota C-HR Prologue makes its first public appearance in Europe. This is actually none other than a preview of the latest generation of the Toyota C-HR.
Since its inception in 2016, the C-HR has been known for its very quirky design, even compared to the average Toyota car in its time, which looks sporty according to the Keen Look design language.
It seems that the quirky design style will still be maintained in the latest generation of C-HR. It can be seen from how the figure of the Toyota C-HR Prologue. Even though it's still a concept car, it may experience changes in the production version.
Toyota C-HR Prologue exterior
The aggressive design of the latest generation C-HR is evident from all around its body. An example is the use of a tri-color finish that combines black, silver and orange in the body of this crossover.
This color combination adds to the uniqueness of the C-HR Prologue design, moreover the design still maintains the "3-door" crossover where the rear door is made to seem smaller thanks to the sharp lines that separate the silver and black panels.
The front view of the latest generation C-HR looks similar to some of the latest Toyota cars such as the Crown, Prius to the bZ4X. Especially in the design of the headlights which are shaped like the letter C and of course they have LED technology.
There are PHEV variants
Like the previous generation, the C-HR Prologue design was developed at Toyota's European design studio based in Nice, France. The C-HR is indeed one of Toyota's products that has been in great demand by European consumers so far.
In addition to the hybrid engine, later the latest generation C-HR will also have a plug-in hybrid engine variant. There is no specific information regarding this, but it is predicted that it will use the 2,000 cc engine that was recently used in the latest generation of Prius.
With the appearance of the C-HR Prologue, it indicates that the production version will appear soon. The latest generation is scheduled to launch in 2023.
