Xiaomi 12T is officially present in Indonesia. This cellphone offers qualified specifications but is priced at a tempting price.
Xiaomi 12T offers a 108 MP camera with an ISOCELL HM6 sensor equipped with OIS for image stability. In addition, there is an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera.
"With OIS, taking pictures using the 108 MP Xiaomi 12T camera at night can be stable and detailed," said Calvin Nobel, Product Marketing Manager for Xiaomi Indonesia at the launch event in Jakarta.
The Xiaomi 12T has a 6.67 inch screen with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 480 Hz and a brightness level of up to 900 nits. The panel uses CrystalRea AMOLED which has 68 billion colors with HDR10+ support and Dolby Vision so it spoils the eyes.
"A good screen is important for the needs of creators. That's why we use the Xiaomi 12T screen, which is crystal clear but still energy efficient," said Calvin.
For the experience of enjoying entertainment via this cellphone, Xiaomi installed dual speakers with Harman Kardon touch and Dolby Atmos support.
The Xiaomi 12T runway is quite fierce, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra chipset is the brain. This chipset is made with a 5nm fabrication with a Mali-G610 GPU.
"The chipset in the Xiaomi 12T has been customized to deliver fast performance but still efficiency from competitors," said Thomas Chan, Product Marketing Manager, Smartphone Business Unit MediaTek who was also present at the launch of the Xiaomi 12T.
"This chip is ideal for content creators and those who like mobile gaming," he added. This claim was agreed upon by Calvin who claimed to have tested it using a number of popular games.
"We tried to play MLBB and got Ultra settings for graphics and 90fps. Even when playing Genshin Impact, it was able to stabilize at 60fps for one hour," said Calvin.
This is possible thanks to Xiaomi concocting the Dimensity 8100 Ultra chipset with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM which can be expanded up to 3 GB. In addition there is liquid cooling and 256 GB of internal storage space.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh. When it runs out, the battery will fill up quickly thanks to the 120W charger support. "It only takes 21 minutes for the Xiaomi 12T to be full," claims Calvin.
The Xiaomi 12T when released runs MIUI 12 based on Android 12. Xiaomi will certainly get 3 Android OS updates and 4 years of security patch updates. The price for Xiaomi 12 in Indonesia costs IDR 6,599,000. Comes in Black and Blue colors.
Xiaomi 12T can be ordered starting December 1, 2022 through online and offline stores. Xiaomi promises Xiaomi Smart Band 7 bonuses, IDR 300,000 cashback and 35 GB of data from XL Axiata.
