The name of the Esemka car is again a hot topic of conversation. This was due to the participation of the manufacturer from Solo, Central Java, in the IIMS 2023 exhibition which took place on 16-26 February 2023 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.
Esemka has been confirmed as a participant in the IIMS 2023 exhibition. His booth will be adjacent to Suzuki and Mitsubishi in Hall A of the JIExpo Kemayoran.
The question arises what car will Esemka bring to this grand exhibition? Is Esemka Bima the pickup type or Esemka Garuda the SUV type?
Esemka Car Change Logo
After being officially declared as a participant in IIMS 2023, a photo of the new logo from PT Solo Manufaktur Kreasi appeared. If previously the Esemka car logo was in the form of a blue oval line in which there were three wavy red lines resembling a flag, now it looks like it is no longer used.
Based on social media uploads from IIMS, it appears that there is a new logo from this manufacturer. Namely a black rectangle with the inscription ESEMKA and the M logo in the middle of which there is an additional motif.
If you look closely, it turns out that the M logo is similar to the logo of an automotive company from China, Neta Auto, which is under the umbrella of Hozon Auto. And it turns out that this logo change was also commented on by netizens in the Instagram comments column @IIMS_id.

Neta U and Neta V Rumored to Change Names to Esemka
Apart from being widely discussed on social media, it turns out that the rumor about the existence of an Esemka car has also appeared on the WhatsApp Group (WAG). Even scattered photos of an SUV with the words Esemka Neta U on the rear license plate.
Neta U is an electric car owned by Hozon Auto. Several other products are also in the form of electric cars such as Neta V, Neta V Pro, and Neta S which are two-door sports car types.
The Neta U has quite large dimensions, namely 4,549 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, 1,628 mm in height, and a 2,770 mm wheelbase. In matters of the kitchen runway, there are two types of electric motors that are distinguished by their power.
The first is 162 PS with 210 Nm of torque. Others have more power, namely 228 PS and 310 Nm of torque. The battery is the same, which has a capacity of 81.57 kWh.
With a large electric motor output figure, it's no wonder acceleration from 0-100 km/h can be achieved in just 7 seconds. The distance traveled in one electric charge also varies according to the type of electric car, starting from 41 km, 501 km, to the most distant 601 km.
Apart from offering good performance, Neta U also has a variety of advanced features that support its user activities. For example, the instrument panel and head unit measuring 12.3 inches, Xiao-U Intelligent Robot, AI voice assistance, online navigation, driving mode and others.
This electric car, which was launched in 2020, is marketed in China starting from 135,800 yuan to 165,800 yuan, or the equivalent of Rp. 301-367 million. Even then, it does not include optional ADAS safety features which need to add more costs.
