Japanese car manufacturer, Mitsubishi, has announced to present a series of new cars in the next few years. Even mentioned, a line of Mitsubishi's newest cars will be presented with hybrid and electric technology. However, from a number of newly planned cars, a car with the Three Diamonds logo has emerged, named the Mitsubishi Moonstone, which this car was present at an event in Turin, Italy.
According to Carscoops, the Moonstone prototype car was not from the Mitsubishi design team, but was created by 18 students majoring in the Master Course in Transportation Design Istituto Europeo di Design (IED).
It was stated, even though it was designed by students, this car which is suitable for immersion in electric technology also received support and direct supervision from the Mitsubishi design team. In addition, this car also received sponsorship from technicians from Pirelli, OZ Racing and Lechler.
Still according to Carscoops, this SUV-style concept car was deliberately made to show Mitsubishi's commitment to developing environmentally friendly car technology. In fact, if implemented, using gasoline, the emission standards will be made very high.
Mitsubishi Moonstone Cool and Aerodynamic Design
From its shape, the Mitsubishi Moonstone comes with a two-door coupe-SUV style, then the ground clearance is made high, plus the aerodynamic curve of the silhouette, and in several parts of this car the design is made like Mitsubishi's characteristics.
Apart from that, the car also briefly reminds us of the form of the Mitsubishi XFC Concept. It's just that if you look at it at a glance and roughly form. But if more detail is very different, both from the front, side and rear.
In addition, the front view of this car already uses LED lights, then on the front there is a lidar mounted on the hood. As for electric cars, the grille of this car is made tightly closed, and the chin protrudes on the lower bumper with black color.
This car has futuristic lines and designs. This can be seen from the unique and sporty coupe-style shape, where the rear is lower, plus the side windows are darkened and the rear pillar is so large and sturdy.
It doesn't stop there, on the back of this car also has a unique design with Moonstone writing and the lights resemble the letter Y tilted. However, as a whole, there are also those who say that this car is the reincarnation of Eclipse, because the character and shape are considered similar.
