The Mitsubishi Xforce 2023 has been officially launched in Indonesia, there are two variants offered by PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), namely the Exceed and Ultimate types.
Both of these variants use the 4A91 type engine like the Xpander and Xpander Cross with MIVEC, DOHC, 4-cylinder technology with a capacity of 1,499 cc.
With this engine, the power that is sprayed reaches 104 PS at 6,000 rpm and 141 torque at 4,000 rpm, which is channeled to the CVT transmission and front-wheel drive system.
Hidden Features in Mitsubishi Xforce 2023
In order to challenge the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Yaris Cross, to the Kia Seltos, MMKSI has of course prepared a mainstay weapon for the Xforce.
So it turns out that there are some small features of Xforce that could be an advantage of this car compared to its opponents.
1. Have Four Riding Modes
Compared to its competitors, the Xforce is the only crossover SUV that is equipped with four driving modes (Drive Mode) specifically reserved for the Ultimate type.
These modes are Normal, Wet, Gravle, and Mud which can be selected according to the terrain at hand. In fact, this is the first time the Wet mode has been applied to Mitsubishi products in Indonesia.
2. Highest Ground Clearance
Even though the genre is the same, it turns out that the Xforce has the highest ground clearance in its class, which is 222 mm.
Compare that with the Honda HR-V which has a ground clearance of 185 mm, then the Hyundai Creta is 200 mm, the Toyota Yaris Cross is 210 mm and the Kia Seltos is 190 mm.
3. Have a Cooling Box
Speaking of storage space in the car cabin, the Mitsubishi Xforce also deserves thumbs up, because there are lots of drawers and pockets to put various luggage.
But the most interesting thing is the existence of a drawer behind the front seat armrest which can be used to place four small bottles of drink, and is equipped with a cooling system.
4. Topnotch Audio System
This one feature is not found in its rivals, specifically for the Ultimate variant, MMKSI has crammed an audio system from Yamaha and is connected to a 12.3-inch monitor that stands on the dashboard.
It has eight speakers and four Preset Equalizers (Signature, Lively, Powerful, Relaxing), the sound system of the audio can adjust to the surrounding noise when the vehicle is moving with the availability of the Speed Compensated Volume (SCV) feature.
5. There are high and low seat and steering wheel settings
This is also an important feature in the Mitsubishi Xforce, because the driver can adjust the driving position that best fits his posture.
Because this car is equipped with tilt and telescopic steering, and the driver's seat can be adjusted manually.
