In June 2023, RMA Indonesia as the agent holding the Ford brand (APM) officially launched the latest generation Everest and Ranger. After only two months of introduction, the total sales of the two newest models have sold more than 400 units.
President Director of RMA Indonesia, Steven Beteng, explained that out of a total of 400 units ordered, Everest was the biggest contributor. According to him, the record is fairly good considering that Ford is in the premium segment.
“Sales of the new generation Ford Everest and Ranger are around 400 units, a total accumulation of these two products. Most sales are Everest around 65%, then Ranger 35%," said Steven at Alam Sutera, South Tangerang, Wednesday (23/8).
Indent For 4 months
Considering that the Ford Everest is imported as a whole, aka CBU (Completely Build Up), consumers have to wait. Steven explained that for current orders, consumers only need to wait 3 to 4 months at the longest.
In terms of sales targets, Steven explained that RMA Indonesia could not answer with certainty what the target number would be until the end of the year. This is related to supply from Thailand whether it can meet demand or not.
“Right now we are on supply, we are fighting for that. We hope our sales can be met from factory supplies to satisfy customers," he said.
