The wide and flexible reach and access of private jets makes it the choice of travelers with deep pockets. This plane also has its own path.
As explained by Toni Hutasofi, Operational Manager at Indojet Sarana Aviasi, private jet routes do not collide with commercial aircraft routes containing many passengers.
"For example, a trip to Medan from Jakarta between using a commercial plane and a private jet will have a time difference of 30 minutes, a private jet is faster," explained Toni.
"One of the bosses once asked to go to the United States early in the morning. Then a few days later he went again to Hong Kong and so on. The time was whatever he wanted, that was possible," he added.
Indojet itself has private jet service branches in three locations, namely in Jakarta, Bali and Hong Kong. This company is trying to spread its wings to reach the whole world.
Toni also explained that if there are travelers who want to travel long distances, they will be given the option to take transit.
"If we want to go to the west coast of America, we can stop in Tokyo or via Biak then continue to Honolulu to the US. If we want to go to New York, we will choose to transit in Dubai," he said.
"We can also fly without transit to Amsterdam, of course using newer aircraft," he added.
In more detail about private jet routes, Toni said that planes that usually carry passengers can fly above an altitude of 45,000 feet. He said, the earth already looks curved from that distance.
"Usually, commercial planes only fly at an altitude of 30 thousand feet. We can go above that, so that's fine and it's easy to get permission to fly because there are no opponents," he stressed.
