Honda N-Box Series Product Line Sets Record as the Fastest Honda Product to Reach 2.5 Million Unit Sales in Japan
The Honda N-Box Series product line managed to set a record as the fastest Honda product to achieve 2.5 million unit sales in Japan by the end of 2023 based on data from the Japan Automobile Sales Association and All Light Self-Cooperative Association.
The first Honda N-Box Series product line, Honda N-Box, was launched in December 2011 and offers spacious cabin space, powerful performance and fuel efficiency.
Since its initial launch, the Honda N-Box immediately received a positive response from consumers in Japan. Honda then introduced the Honda N-Box+ variant in July 2012 and the Honda N-Box SLASH in December 2014.
The Honda N-Box Series then succeeded in achieving cumulative sales of 1 million units at the end of 2016 and cumulative sales of 2 million units at the end of 2021 .
After that, in October 2023, the third generation Honda N-Box was officially introduced, maintaining a comfortable, spacious cabin and wide visibility in the driver's room, helping the driver to see road conditions.
This product is also equipped with Honda CONNECT connectivity technology and more complete Honda SENSING safety technology. Closing 2023, the Honda N-Box has successfully sold 231,385 units, making it one of the products with the highest sales figures in Japan.
The Honda N-Box Series also managed to get first place in the Light Four-Wheel Vehicle Ranking product category in Japan for 9 consecutive years from 2015 to 2023.
Not only that, the Honda N-Box Series also managed to get first place in the category 4-Wheel Overall Ranking for 2 consecutive years from 2022 and 2023.
