This is a Model of the Airplane of the Future
Currently, there are various forms of airplanes. However, technology experts in the Netherlands are conducting research to create a more efficient form of future aircraft.
Future aircraft could be sleek and efficient with fused wings. Currently such a form is proposed in a proposal by the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
As reported by The Telegraph, Wednesday (29/7) it was described that the plane would have a wing mixed with one body connected to another part. Saaat wings are no longer made separately.
This would be one of a number of innovations that have been mooted as a result of Advanced Hybrid Engine Airplane Developer (AHEAD) research between the two organizations.
This growing research sees academics, manufacturers and aviation experts considering more high-tech aircraft. Aircraft that can be developed with increasing flight experience.
The aircraft is thought to minimize drag and reduce fuel consumption. A new engine design will also provide better efficiency as well. The engine will be used with a hybrid engine and other complex technological changes further.
More precise details can be found in the report researchers conducted on the development. However the general public is unlikely to see the results of this research in reality until around 2050. Although far away, it is an ambitious proposal for a very different type of commercial aircraft.
This design was released in the spring and features hydrogen power. Meanwhile, the aircraft concept proposed by experts in Barcelona, VINALS, will utilize new technology that was born to fly with zero emissions and at a volume 75 percent quieter than today's aircraft.
The 800-passenger aircraft will also include the advantage of a first-class cabin that can accommodate a panoramic cinema and 3D screen. Vinals' design is claimed to be realized by 2030.
It is hoped that by the 2020s, a number of commercial supersonic aircraft are currently being developed by NASA and others as well. The increase in claim speed could make flights from London to Sydney faster.
Even though they are being developed by different companies, a number of commonly proposed innovations include eliminating windowed cabins.
