Honda Starts Series of Honda e:Technology City Tour Activities Around Jakarta with Electrified Cars
In collaboration with the Jakarta Good Guide (JGG), Honda started a series of Honda e:Technology City Tour events on February 29 2024. In this event, participants were invited to tour various interesting locations in Jakarta using Honda electrified cars, starting from the Honda e , All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV and All New Honda CR-V RS e:HEV.
This inaugural tour has the theme Tjikini En Omstreken or in Indonesian it means Cikini and its surroundings. On this tour route, participants will visit various historical places, namely Taman Ismail Marzuki and the Youth Pledge Museum, and taste legendary culinary delights, namely Tjanang Ice Cream and Maison Weiner Bakery. During the trip, participants will get various interesting information from the historical places they visit, as well as education about environmental issues and various environmentally friendly technologies from Honda.
One of the technologies that participants can try directly is cars with hybrid technology and batteries which are used to travel from one location to another on this tour. In line with the environmentally friendly tour, participants will use Honda e electric cars which produce absolutely no carbon emissions. Honda e is a BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) car which has an attractive retro futuristic design, a sophisticated cabin with various digital interfaces and a battery capacity capable of covering a distance of 220 km.
Apart from the Honda e, participants were also invited to try out the All New Honda CR-V RS e:HEV and All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV models, which have an advanced hybrid system with power management that maximizes fuel efficiency and low emissions. In the Honda hybrid system, the electric motor works predominantly in various travel conditions, especially in city travel conditions, so that it is in line with the environmentally friendly City Tour concept.
Apart from cars that can be tried directly, Honda also displays various other electrification products that participants can see and learn about, starting from the Honda N-Van EV Prototype electric car, the Honda EM1 e electric motorbike, to the Honda LiB-AID E500 power product.

The Honda e:Technology City Tour will take place from March to July 2024.
